Gimli Gazette, Number Ninety-Six

Gimli Gazette, Number Ninety-Six

Hello my friends, and welcome to another edition of the Gimli Gazette, where I teach the world to sing in perfect harmony.  I do this through my giftings in the areas of music, philosophy, and equine wisdom.  Read and learn, and the world will be a much better place for it..

I have two questions from one of the children in the current session.  The child asks, “What is your favorite treat?”  This is an easy question to answer.  I am a big fan on horse cookies.  I know where Miss Mo hides them on the ranch.  It is not far from my paddock.  When she is not looking, I dispatch my canine minion (Mati) to go and fetch me a few.  She also brings me toys and stuffed animals into the arena.  I am told that being my personal assistant is one of Mati’s favorite chores on the ranch.

The second question is interesting.  “If you had to pick a horse to be with, who would it be?”  It is hard to choose between Ladyhawke and Jireh.  Hawke and I go way back, and I am convinced that she has a crush on me.  (We keep our relationship professional at all times so that we are available as needed for the children).  Jireh is my bro, and we like to get into mischief together.  We can be often seen tossing a deflated ball back and forth in the arena, and sometimes we like to playfully nip each other.  I guess that when I want deep conversation, I hang with Hawke; when I want to be silly, Jireh is my go-to guy.  It all depends on my mood at any moment.

The new session is off to a great start!  The weather is getting a bit warmer, but that does not stop us from spending time with the kiddos.  I hope that they keep writing me questions.  It shows that they are curious about my perspective on ranch life, and I am pleased to share my vast wisdom with them.

Happy Trails,

Gimli  June 6, 2026
