Gimli Gazette Number One Hundred and One

Gimli Gazette Number One Hundred and One

Hello my friends, and welcome to another exciting edition of the Gimli Gazette, where I speak to the issues of our day as a voice crying out in the wilderness, available for those with ears to hear, eyes to see, and hearts open to receiving truth from my lips.

Today we have a fascinating question from a young woman in our current session.  She writes, “What is your vision like?  Are you colorblind?  Do you have multidimensional sight?”

Yes, I have very good vision.  In fact, many of my readers consider me to be quite the visionary.  Some even consider me to be prophetic!  Alas, I believe that you are more interested in my eyesight and my visual skills rather than my insights into life.

Like most horses, my vision is almost 360 degrees.  This is because my eyes are on the side of my head.  I have small blind spots in front and directly behind me, but I can compensate for these by subtle movements.

I have two-color vision.  I am great with blues and yellows, but reds do not work well for me.  Humans have three-color vision, which gives you a visual edge over me.  It also takes me longer to get used to the light when I move from bright to dark areas.

As for multidimensional vision, I can see in 3D directly in front of me.  It is to the sides that I miss out on depth perception.  To make up for this, you will see me lift or dip my head a lot.  This allows me to gain depth perception when I need it.  When you see me move like this, it shows that I am taking in everything around me in greater depth than if I stood still.  As a horse of great personal depth and sharp perception, I move around a lot!

Well that’s all for this posting.  The current session is off to a great start.  It was fun seeing many of you at last week’s tomato tasting.  I posed for many selfies and got lots of affection from my many fans.  I was also fed more than my fair share of carrots, which I loved!

Happy Trails,

Gimli     August 20, 2026
